We have 10 WI groups in Guernsey with meetings held during afternoons and evenings. Each of the WI groups hold monthly meetings with speakers or demonstrations as well as visits, meals out and other activities. In addition, the Guernsey Federation runs events including an annual darts league, monthly craft sessions as well as cookery and craft events, demonstrations and competitions. You can, of course, do as much or as little of these as you wish. Each WI is 'individual' and has its own personality. You can go along to as many as you want in order to find one that suits you – when you think you have found that one, you can attend three meetings before making a final decision.
