Guernsey Island Executive Committee

At present we have 9 members on the Guernsey Executive, with a good cross representation of WI's.

The committee is responsible for running the Federation with the officers being exofficio members on all the Island Sub-committees.
Each executive members also serves on a sub-committee and reports back to the Executive meeting monthly , as the Island committee is responsible for the final decision on all matters of finance, health and safety and general policy according to Charity Commission rules and the WI Constitution.

We also enjoy meeting the members at Federation Events and had a busy time in September 2010 when we entertained members from the UK for our Federation Holiday.

For our 60th Anniversary a Gala Dinner was held at the Old Government House Hotel where the speaker was Anne Widdecombe, we all enjoyed listening to her anecdotes of life as an MP and could have listened to her for a lot longer.
